Peter
Shaw founded Blue Wing Capital Management, LLC as an innovative fee-based
investment advisory firm in 2004. The advisory book of business was sold in
2008, as Peter shifted focus to sourcing, financing, and managing commercial
real estate investments.
Prior to fee-based advisory, Peter spent six years as a
Series 7 licensed registered representative for an independent Broker/Dealer.
Spanning his financial career, Mr. Shaw has traded in excess of $200 million in
equities and debt instruments. He was Treasurer of the Board for Montessori
Peaks Academy, a Jefferson County Charter School, where he developed and
oversaw a $3 million dollar per year annual operating budget and guided a $7.5 million
municipal bond refinancing.
Peter
received his Colorado Real Estate License in November 1991 and graduated from
the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Environmental Studies in 1989 with a
concentration on land use and energy issues.

Charles Shaw (In Memorium) was a principal of Blue Wing Development LLC. Spanning
a 50 year career in real estate, Charlie participated in the development,
management, and ownership of well over $200 million in residential,
multifamily, office, and mixed use real estate.
